- Find your strip’s watts per metre (e.g. 9.6 W/m).
- Multiply by your length (e.g. 4 m → 38.4 W).
- Choose the next size up (add 10–20% headroom).
Example: 38.4 W → choose the 60 W driver.
- Long runs: feed from both ends or split across drivers to reduce voltage drop.
- Need dimming? Use a 24 V PWM dimmer on the low-voltage side (these drivers are not mains-dimmable).
What this driver does
Converts normal SA mains (220–240 V AC) to a steady 24 V DC for LED striplights. Constant-voltage output keeps your strips bright and stable, with built-in protection.

Install & safety
- Switch off mains before wiring; observe polarity on the 24 V output.
- Use appropriate cable sizes: primary 0.75–1.5 mm²; secondary 0.5–1.5 mm².
- Mount in a ventilated space; do not cover the driver.
- For 24 V LED strips only (not 12 V, not constant-current modules).
