Delivery area
The Light Shop delivers within South Africa using approved delivery partners, subject to destination and service availability.
Shipping charges
The current standard South Africa delivery configuration is:
- R100 delivery for qualifying orders up to R1,000; and
- free delivery for qualifying orders over R1,000.
If a different delivery method, destination-specific charge or material exclusion applies, the amount shown or confirmed at checkout before the order is submitted governs that delivery selection.
Dispatch and delivery timing
Delivery timing depends on stock availability, destination and the delivery option applicable to the order. Material product-specific lead times are shown or communicated where they apply.
Unless a different period is displayed or agreed before the order is submitted, The Light Shop will execute the order within 30 days after receiving it, in accordance with ECTA section 46.
If we cannot perform because the goods are unavailable, we will notify the customer and apply the applicable statutory refund requirements.
Delivery address and receipt
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address and reasonable contact information. Any failed-delivery or redelivery charge must correspond to the delivery arrangement disclosed for the order and applicable law.
Goods remain at the supplier's risk until accepted by the consumer to the extent required by applicable law.
Incorrect, incomplete, damaged or missing deliveries
If an order arrives damaged, contains the wrong goods or quantity, or is materially incomplete, contact info@thelightshop.co.za or 021 447 0105 with the order details and information reasonably available.
No administrative notification period removes statutory rights.
Tracking
Where tracking is available for the selected delivery method, tracking or dispatch information is sent using the contact details supplied with the order.
Collection
Collection may be offered where it is displayed as an available checkout option.
Do not travel to collect until The Light Shop sends a collection-ready confirmation.
