How does the SpaceSense technology work?

SpaceSense is a motion-detection technology developed by WiZ based on Wi-Fi sensing technology. It leverages the Wi-Fi waves that most people already have at home to detect motion based on the disturbances created by a person’s presence. When there are two or more WiZ or Connected by WiZ lights (bulbs, downlights, LED strips, etc.) or devices (e.g. smart plugs) in a room, you can activate SpaceSense in that room and enable lights to automatically turn on and off based on whether motion is detected or not.

Can I adjust the sensitivity of SpaceSense motion detection?

You can adjust SpaceSense settings at any time in the WiZ app. For instance, you can choose different light modes to trigger when motion is detected. And if you're tired of your pet turning on the lights at midnight, you can adjust the sensitivity to detect only larger objects, like humans. 

Is SpaceSense compatible with all WiZ and Connected by WiZ lights? And are all features available (e.g. change warmth, colors, intensity)?

To enable motion detection, you must have at least two SpaceSense-compatible lights or devices installed in a room. All newer WiZ and Connected by WiZ lights that come with a Wi-Fi + Bluetooth dual chip are compatible with SpaceSense. 

Once SpaceSense is activated in a room, it can trigger all WiZ and Connected by WiZ lights installed in the room regardless of whether they are SpaceSense-compatible or not.
